Applications

For protection against larger particle contamination:

• as a pre-filter for plant room equipment and duct linings, extending the installed life of higher cost secondary filters.

• in general heating, ventilating and air conditioning systems where humidity conditions cause moisture deterioration on cardboard surround panel filters. The media has excellent ‘moisture stripping’ qualities and is available dry, or gel impregnated.

Specifications

The media is continuously spun glass graduated throughout the matrix to ensure even dirt loading through its full depth. Each fibre strand is coated with a special non-migrating gel to enhance the filter’s dirt retention properties and to develop its very high dust holding capacity

Installation

Pads locate into front or rear withdrawal holding frames. If required, frames with all clips, gasketing, sealant and support rods can be supplied. Alternatively, frame banks can be supplied in modules.
